Chno Dearg lies to the South of Glen Spean and is usually accessed from Fersit. It is usually combined with Stob Coire Sgriodain to the West to give a circular route. Most of this mountain consists of gentle grassy slopes which are prone to be boggy at the bottom, but this gives way near the summit to a rocky summit.
