Aonach Mor

Aonach Mor lies a few miles to the East of Fort William and sits at the Northern end of a North-South ridge. The Northern slopes make up the Nevis Range Ski Centre, so it would be advisable to avoid that area during winter. In the summer months however the ski gondola can be used to your advantage and a significant amount of ascent can be avoided by using the gondola. If you consider that cheating, you can also access Aonach Mor and Aonach Beag from the upper Glen Nevis.
