Stob Poite Coire Ardair

Stob Poite Coire Ardair lies on the Western end of a long ridge, with Carn Liath on the Eastern end. After Stob Poite Coire Ardair the ridge drops down to a high col before re-ascending to the summit plateau of Creag Meagaidh.

Combined with Carn Liath and Creag Meagaidh it makes for a fine traverse of the range. The full traverse starts and finishes in Glen Spean, albeit some 4-5 miles seperate the finish point from the start point. Alternatively the traverse can be curtailed after Creag Meagaidh and you can make your way back to the start point.
