Sgurr Mor is the highest mountain from the range of mountains that occupy the region between Loch Fannich to the South and the A835 to the North. Known collectively as the Fannichs, Sgurr Mor sits in the central area of the main ridge. Access is easy and straightforward from the A835.
Normally combined with Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich to the North-East, it makes for a sensible day out in the mountains. For the more ambitious, you can approach from the South-Eastern end of the range, picking up An Coileachan and Meall Gorm en route.
