MUNRO CENTRAL
An Stuc
| Location: | NN638430 |
| Height: | 1118 m 3668 ft |
An Stuc sits as the central Munro on a traverse of the long Ben Lawers ridge, one of the classic and correspondingly busy routes in this area. An Stuc was only relatively recently in 1997 promoted to a Munro, consequently what was once simply a steep path on it's East face has now been eroded to be a very loose and quite notorious path off the mountain. The shape of An Stuc is quite distinctive; the Ben Lawers ridge is predominantly quite rounded, but An Stuc is a bit more pointed.
