Ben Lawers is the highest mountain in it's area and the 10th highest Munro in Scotland. On a clear day you can see a long way as there isn't really anything else close to it in terms of altitude. A traverse of the entire ridge taking in Beinn Ghlas, Ben Lawers, An Stuc, Meall Garbh and Meall Greigh is one of the classic walks in this area. Ben Lawers is also very accessible and consequently attracts it's fair share of crowds.
